So, today Chris took the older three boys, my cousin took Mikey, and a friend took Eli and I had an entire afternoon to myself!
It was so easy running errands, I would just jump out of the car and go. Every time I got out I would look back, thinking "surely I'm forgetting something". After being so used to all the "stuff" that comes with kids, not to mention the kids themselves, I'd forgotten how truly simple life can be without them. I also thought how incredibly quiet and lonely it was being by myself, but boy did I get a lot done, not to mention pretty toes and fresh hair, too!

In the nail salon, as I got my pedicure I looked to my right at the mother/daughter getting their toes done and thought "it would be so fun to have a daughter to share this with". Then, the daughter was done and the mother spent the rest of her pedicure saying "be careful, don't mess up your polish" and answering a hundred and twenty questions...while I relaxed...alone...in my massaging chair, enjoying the lack of responsibilites. After the mom was done I smiled as she had to dish out an extra thirty bucks for her kids electric blue toes.
Yeah, having boyz rocks! And alone time is divine.
